The Amish Are Coming, The Whisky Works
I hate to be mean, but I just don't find anything about this 4-track EP enjoyable - so much so that my girlfriend proclaimed it 'the worst thing I've ever heard'. I wouldn't go that far, but it's just so dischordant and lacks any kind of cohesion it ends up sounding messy. the gruff vocals smack more of a singer that can't sing, rather than a singer doing something different, while the 'catchy' bits don't stand out at all. "God, it's awful" the missus cried, holding her hands to her ears. She's not far wrong really - there's very little positive to say about this Scottish mob at all.
