It's a sad state of affairs when you feel the need to get an OC link into your bio...in this case, Epsilons come from Laguna Beach - according to the band this is the 'real OC'. The similarities to the hit TV show end there. This mob aren't set to become Seth Cohen's favourite band and I doubt very much they'll be playing at the Bait Shop anytime soon. There's more garage-rock here than anything catchy or commercial, and, to tell the truth, I found the 14 songs to drag on quite a lot. This isn't a long album - just 26 minutes - but I found myself losing track of when a song started and finished. The production is very lo-fi, which I guess suits the style of music, but I thought it lacked a sparkle which detracts from the quality of the music on offer. I've listened several times over and I've found nothing here that would make me want to listen to this again...
