Chorusaurus, Hello Nurse
I like the title of this record, it kind of sums up the overall chirpy mood of this mini-album/EP. Although Hello Nurse collar themselves as indie-rock, they mix bands like Ok Go with poppier elements - and even a little ska - to create a band which sound fun. They're not amazing and they won't change the world, but they are a lot of fun. 'Last One To Know' sticks out like a sore thumb on 'Chorusaurus' - not only is it the band's best song, but it's forceful, groove-laden and a great singalong. Hello Nurse are by far at their best when they're more upbeat and 'We've Got Tonight' has all the qualities to make an impact. On the whole this isn't too bad at all and certainly a worthy addition to your myspace friends list...
