The Wrath of Breene, Breene
Another for the 'we probably shouldn't be reviewing this' file - Keighley kids Breene play a brand of rock which wears the heart of Nirvana and Metallica on their sleeves, yet chuck in a few faster drum beats in a bid to confuse the punk kids. There's nothing particularly wrong with what this quartet do - if you like scuzzed up, yet basic, guitar riffs and a 16-year-old practising his best James Hetfield impressions - but it's just not my thing at all. Infact I've only penned these few words out of courtesy because the band bothered to send a CD in for review. No offence lads, but you'd probably have more success targeting the right genres...
