Watch the video for ‘Out Of The Window’ by Beezewax

Beezewax may have been making a name for themselves for some time, yet they still never fail to dazzle with every release. As the Norwegian indie-rock band ready the release of their new EP, ‘Out Of The Window’, and prepare to hit the UK this week, we are bringing you a look at the video for the title track from the aforementioned EP.

“Having just wrapped recording for our new EP, and getting ready for our third tour in Japan, someone there asked if we needed a music video,” explains Beezwax vocalist, Kenneth. “We responded “Yes” without hesitation. Since the story of the song also originates from Japan, everything just fell into place, or became very much Japanese themed.”

“We have always been fascinated by the country, their culture and the whole parallel western world which is so much like ours but still very very different. One of our big fascinations is that people do a lot of stuff alone there. Especially karaoke, they might go after work- rent a room for ours and sing sappy songs- which is pretty incredible. Also, we noticed a lot of people come to our shows alone, having travelled by train for a good distance to see us. Its not like that where we are from in Norway.”

“We just told them to make a video about a person spending the day alone, we thought it would come back looking maybe really sad or dark but it just came out really cute, and with a totally different perspective on what a day like that could be.”

‘Out Of The Window’ is due for release on October 7th via Sellout! Music, and the band start their UK tour this week, which you can see the dates for below.
