Watch the video for Kilkovec’s new single, ‘Change’

By Glen Bushell

Hampshire alt-rock band, Kilkovec had a busy year in 2016, and apparently show no signs of slowing down just yet, and their new EP, ‘Plunge’, is set to drop at the end of the month. The band have put together a video for ‘Change’to ahead of the release of the EP, which you can check out below.

β€œDan (Vocals/Guitar) originally came up with the riff a couple years back whilst he was unemployed and was basically just making loads of demos to pass time,” explains the band of ‘Change’. “Initially it was a softer piece with the main riff being a breakdown of the track. The song just sat there for a while until Dan rewrote it, switched up the lyrics, and changed it to how it is now. As for the video, we worked with videographer Dave Parker who had recorded our last two videos. After having a look at loads of “in” videos at the time we thought it would be better to do nothing like that and just film us on an impulsive day out with our friends. The additional footage comes from recording our new EP ‘Plunge’ in the studio as well as our set at Basingstoke Live festival. We’ve made some of our fondest memories as a band this year and been fortunate to capture some on film and it felt really fitting for the song to include it in the video. All in all, we were trying to make a video that captured the honest and human side to us.”
