We’re exclusively unveiling the new video for ‘Empty Handed’ by This Drama.

The video showcases the overall style and aesthetic of the Canary Islanders. It’s classic hardcore punk meets rock ‘n’ roll is suitably recommended for fans of The Bronx and Cancer Bats. It is the first cut to be taken from the band’s upcoming new EP ‘Summer Failures’.

“Being a member of This Drama has always been about growth, improvement and integrity,” explains vocalist AsdrĂşbal Marichal. “After 12 years of being in this band none of our principles have changed. We believe that with every new record we must challenge ourselves, and surpass our previous work.”

The EP was produced by Scott Middleton, who is best known as the guitarist for the aforementioned Cancer Bats. According to the Marichal, Middleton apparently recorded the record with the band in Tenerife and helped them to “get amazing tones, and inspire creativity”.

“Previously we worked with producers Joby Ford (The Bronx) and Jag Jago (The Ghost of A Thousand ), who both really pushed us to demand the most of ourselves in the studio, and helped us make the best records we could. But, working with producer Scott Middleton of Cancer Bats for our new record ‘Summer Failures’ has truly been one of the most exciting experiences in our band’s career and has drastically changed and improved the way we craft songs.”

‘Empty Handed’ is taken from This Drama’s upcoming new EP, ‘Summer Failures’, which will be released on the 6th October via Venn Records.
