Stockholm-based garage punks Gestures are set to release their new EP ‘The Bad Taste’ on November 17 and we’re exclusively streaming ‘Kicks’ from the upcoming effort. The band recently signed to PNKSLM Recordings, who are offering pre-orders here.
“I actually wrote this song back in 2012 or 2011 and did it in like five minutes,” front-man Sick Vic explains. “At first it was like 50 seconds long or so but since then some things have been added to the intro and outro and so on, but it’s basically the same song. It’s a pretty simple song but it’s also kinda tough to play since you really need to keep up the tempo and put your heart in it, otherwise it’s just gonna sound dull and boring.”
