Promising pop-rockers Middle Distance stream ‘New Hall’

By Ben Tipple

Buckinghamshire pop-rockers Middle Distance make beautiful music. At times pushing on melodic indie, their affection for the likes of Brand New and American Football is evident in the melancholic sound, with the band describing themselves as bittersweet alternative rock.

“The song is about moving away from someone you’re close to,” the band say of ‘New Hall’, the second track to be lifted from their forthcoming ‘Losing Colour’ EP. It’s another glimpse into their moving introspection, following the title-track at the start of the month.

‘Losing Colour’ will be available from the 27th November via Club Omega.
