German trio No Fun clearly know their stuff when it comes to dessert. They are also pretty clued up on winning over people’s hearts. “I will give you all the cheesecakes that I have,” guitarist and vocalist Andreya implores, “and I will do whatever I need to do to get you back.” They had us a cheesecake.
And what better way to celebrate rekindled love and dessert royalty than with this absolute garage-punk banger? And by inviting some of your buddies to a subterranean restaurant to chow down on the glorious dairy based sweet and to drink gallons of champaign for the accompanying video, of course.
“The video-shoot to this one was so much fun: we gathered all our friends together in a small bar in our hometown and basically just fucked shit up,” the band explain. “The song itself is the definition of a love-song.”
The track will appear on the forthcoming four-way split, ‘Great Thieves Escape II’. To be released via No Panic! and Flix Records on the 27th May, No Fun are joined by stateside punks Walk The Plank and Such Gold, as well as the UK’s Harker.
