Listen to the new O’Holy Ghost track, ‘Stone’s Throw’

By Glen Bushell

Forming from the ashes of Britishteeth, O’Holy Ghost have unveiled their new single, ‘Stone’s Throw’, which we are exclusively bringing you below.

Formed by the bands two singers, James Farrelly and Darren Smith, the London four piece has been through countless line up changes. Now Farrelly is collaborating again with two his ex-Britishteeth bandmates; drummer Tom Maguire and bassist Greg O’Grady.

“‘Stone’s Throw ‘is half about me reflecting on idea of marriage or expectation of it, it being the natural progression of a relationship, happiness and ultimately nothing being forever,” says Smith of the track. “The other half is a song for a work mate that was going through a divorce, I’ve never had depression or had the need to go therapy but he had it and it was hard to watch someone who was such a solid guy beat himself up and see the guilt consume him. It’s pretty matter of fact, “you’re not the first, you’re not the last, my friend you are forgiven.”
