Holly Would Surrender bring the corridor party with ‘Sorry, We’re Back’

By Ben Tipple

Donning miscellaneous costumes, German pop-punks Holly Would Surrender bring their insatiably catchy hooks to an abandoned corridor in their new video for ‘Sorry, We’re Back’. The track celebrates a retrospective feel, not least due to the guest vocals by Alex of fellow Hamburg outfit, Lax Diamond.

“The song was one of the first which was done for the new album. But the hardest to get done,” the band explain. “The demo we did before and the song on the album are very different. All changes were made in the studio (drumbeats, lyrics etc.). But we knew from the start, we needed a guest on this for the rap part. Alex was the first one who came to our minds. When Alex of Lax Diamond stepped to the mic we knew its gonna be one of the video-singles. We hope you like it as much as we do!”

‘Sorry, We’re Back’ is taken from Holly Would Surrender’s recent ‘Kaleidoscope’ full-length, citing the likes of blink-182, NOFX and New Found Glory as key influences. Watch the video below, and check out our recent stream of the full record.
