Fuchsia do some self-examining with their new single, ‘Mundane’

Scottish alternative band, Fuchsia, do some self examining on their new single, ‘Mundane’. While it has been released before, it fits the tone of their forthcoming ‘Loss’ EP, which is being released by a brand new label, Blindreader Records. Today we are bringing you an exclusive listen to ‘Mundane’ below.

“We originally released ‘Mundane’ as a stand-alone single last year and it generally showed a heavier/darker side of us compared to our first EP release ‘Conversations’,” says guitarist, vocalist, Mark Thow. “The track was written while I was doing my final university dissertation and it revolves around the idea of getting stuck in a routine of basically doing nothing productive with my time and having a huge lack of motivation, whether it was for my uni work or writing music. The track is sort of attacking myself but it’s also a reminder that I have done work in my life that I am proud of and that I can look back on rather than just considering myself a waste of space completely.”

‘Loss’ is released on December 2nd, with limited physical copies available to pre-order now. Fuchsia will play a release show for the EP on December 1st at 13th Note in Glasgow.
