Leeds alt rockers FURR are exclusively sharing their brand new video for ‘Another Fable’ here at Punktastic.
“We had so much fun making this video,” exclaims singer Jack Byrne. “Sam and Guy are enormous fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race, so when they were chatting about it with our videographer she suggested getting in touch with a couple of drag queens that she knew to star in the video. We knew that we wanted to do something less performance-based than we’ve done in the past, so we took the opportunity to do something that links in with the meaning behind the song. Or at least that’s the official story, I like to think that it’s just an excuse to dress up stupidly and laugh at ourselves.”
For the band it was also a nice change of pace to make a video which didn’t follow the widely used performance standards. Based upon the results, one can agree that their fun enfused passion for making this video shows.
‘Another Fable’ is taken from FURR’s upcoming split with RIIB, which will be released on the 14th July via Come Play With Me.
