First play of the brand new track from Ultra City

By Glen Bushell

Break up songs are something every artist tackles at some point in their career. Things happen for a reason, whether you want them to or not, and most of the time they happen in the wrong way and its out of your control. That’s what Oklahoma based alt-rock band Ultra City have tapped into on their new track ‘Come Closer’, which we are bringing you an exclusive first play of today.

“It’s a break up song where certain events took place that came across the wrong way,” explains Ultra City vocalist, Elliott Maldonado. “Basically when someone means well by being honest, but the other person doesn’t see it that way.”

The track is taken from the bands forthcoming debut album, ‘Year Of The Deer’, which is released on June 9th via Ronald Records. Pre-orders for the album are available now, and our U.S readers can catch Ultra City on an extensive tour throughout the summer. For more information, head to their Facebook page.
