London’s hardworking exponents of fast paced, melodic punk Disconnect, Disconnect Records are releasing the new EP from York’s Larrakia this Friday. PT have teamed up with the label to offer an exclusive first play of the five track EP.

“Having heard about the sad demise of one of the UK’s best skatepunk bands The Fear a few years back, I was very interested to hear what they might be doing next. After keeping in touch with a few of the guys, I heard that 3 of them had got together with another guitarist to form a new band. Larrakia, and was obviously excited to hear the new tracks.
When I heard a few demos they blew me away with their powerful but melodic punk rock / skate punk style and having got to know a few of the guys a bit I knew they’d be a perfect addition to the Disconnect Disconnect roster. Luckily, the band agreed to do a little teaser 3 track self titled EP with us last year, which helped build up some momentum and landed them a bunch of cool support slots with bands like A Wilhelm Scream, Such Gold and Gnarwolves amongst others. Since then, the band have been working on a bunch of new tracks, which brings us to the new EP ‘Rantallion’ which sees the band go from strength to strength, and I’m sure will see these guys become a hot name in the UK punk rock scene.”
