First play of ‘Blame You’, the new single from Thisistoodifficult

By Glen Bushell

Texan indie/emo band Thisistoodifficult really know how to pull at your heart strings. Their brilliant new single ‘Blame You’, which we are giving you an exclusive first play of today, deals with loss and heartache, and will hit hard with anyone who has had to deal with that.

“Lyrically, ‘Blame You’ is about coming to terms with past heartache I felt from someone I have feelings for, again,” explains Thisistoodifficult vocalist/guitarist, Rafa Puebla. “The narrative is that I’m telling her how I felt, understanding that the experience made me a better person, and recognizing that our separation had to happen in order for her to come back into my life. The song features the EP’s title, If You Decide To Go. Sonically, we wanted to make a song that was ambient and allowed focus on the lyrics.”

‘Blame You Is Taken’ from Thisistoodifficult’s forthcoming EP, ‘If You Decide To Go’, which is released on October 21st via Closed Quarters Coalition and available to pre-order now.
