First play ‘Bones’, the new single from Nervus

By Glen Bushell

With impending release of their new album, ‘Permanent Rainbow’, Nervus are already causing quite a stir. The Watford-based indie rockers have already released ‘Oh Joy’ and ‘Skipping Needle’, and today we are bringing you the first play of their new single, ‘Bones’.

“In short, ‘Bones’ is about gender dysphoria,” explains vocalist/guitarist, Em. “It pretty much sums up how I felt about being in the closet as a non-binary trans woman. I think that the “wrong body” thing gets chucked about too much but the actual feeling was that I was trapped in the wrong life. It goes out to every LGBTQ+ person who is struggling with self-acceptance. It also goes out to my petcat Olive who recently got quite ill from eating a rubber skeleton.”

‘Permanent Rainbow’ is released on November 4th via Venn Records, and is available to pre-order now. Nervus also have a few tour dates coming up, which you can see below.
