We are no strangers to the work of Bad News here at Punktastic. We have had a close eye on them over the last couple of years, and just when it seemed they were gaining momentum, they went quiet. For various reasons, the Cheltenham indie rock band needed some time away, but the end result is an excellent new EP, ‘Hello Morning’, which we are bringing you an exclusive listen to below.
“I’d say it’s a collection of songs quite different to one another that we’ve written over a couple of years that we think best sum us up as a band,” explains Bad News vocalist, Tom Playfair. “We are really happy with how the EP came out, and we’re glad people can finally hear it. It’s been a bit of a difficult year where we’ve had to put the band on the back burner for various reasons. We will be playing a hometown show at the turn of the new year and will be looking to book shows for around that time too.”
