Simmer’s ‘Charles’ pushes them to boiling point

There’s a reason we’ve turned a simple album release show into an all-encompassing emo fest, topped by Cheshire’s finest, Simmer. One listen to ‘Charles’ gives you an insight into their gloomy sound, adding darker twists and turns to their grunge inspired stype. Bordering on morose shoegaze, it’s highly atmospheric – foreboding and mesmerising in equal measures.

Their ‘Paper Prism’ album is equally stunning, believe me, and we’re ready for them to bring to sadness to the Old Blue LastΒ in London later this month.
