Plague Vendor have turned it up to eleven

As intense as Plague Vendor’s debut full-length ‘Free To Eat’ was, it’s seemingly about to be blown out the water by their ‘Bloodsweat’ follow-up. ‘ISUA’ and the frankly stunning ‘Jezebel’ see the Californian four-piece turn it up a notch, with the latter proving to be one of the most exhilarating post-punk tracks in recent memory. It’s enough to cause a heavy rush of adrenaline, building and building to a subtly ferocious crescendo. ‘Bloodsweat’ is already shaping up to be one of the best albums of the year, and that’s based on two tracks alone.
