Insect Radio sound as frantic as their name suggests

It’s interesting how words can conjure up expectations of sound. Insect Radio could sound just like any other band, but with a name like that, it was highly unlikely. Queue frantic riffs, ferocious screams and mathy time-signatures that verge on migraine inducing in the two minute short ‘A Fine Christian’. It blends mainland European punk (read: Refused), hardcore and noise-rock, becoming a monster of a track that ultimately sounds like what you might expect insects in your radio to sound like. Of course after listening to ‘A Fine Christian’ on repeat, I might have just gone mad.
