Better late than never with If These Trees Could Talk

I’m sorry if this tricks you into thinking If These Trees Could Talk have a new song available: they don’t. ‘Solstice’ comes from the band’s 2016 album ‘The Bones of a Dying World’, but is a record I’ve only just come across. ‘Solstice’ – and indeed the whole record – is so stunningly beautiful that I had to share it, in case there are other poor souls like myself who missed out on it the first time.

‘Solstice’ is a wonderful journey of instrumental post-rock that ebbs and flows through engaging musicianship and uplifting melodies. It’s a perfect opening track to an album that continues to deliver from start to finish. Though I’m late discovering the joy of If These Trees Could Talk, it’s certainly better late than never. ‘The Bones of a Dying World’ is available through Bandcamp.
