‘Find A Job’, the new track by Matt Mascarenas’s (Daytrader/Heartless Breakers) solo project Westing, is beautifully retro. Not the band kind of clichéd retro like that tacky lamp at your nan’s house that you’d rather just throw out the window when nobody is looking. But in the engrossing retro that hints back at lazy afternoons binge-watching The O.C. or listening to Elliot Smith, and every single one of your emo favourites.

It’s taken from Mascarena’s split with Traveler’s Cold (Sam Richards of Cult Leader), out on the 11th December 2015, which I expect is filled with just as much beauty.
