Being part of this world I hear a lot of music, and sometimes it’s hard to take it all in. So when something jumps out at me it makes it all the more special, much like Sinai Vessel’s new album, ‘Brokenlegged’. On the surface it is simple, guitar driven indie rock, carried by sweeping melodies and a delicate intricacies, yet Once I became invested in it, I quickly realised it was so much more.

It’s one of the most well written, profound records I’ve heard in a while. The anxiety-ridden narrative hit home with me, yet I found the sense of hope that is buried with in the tracks comforting. The way Sinai Vessel stand out from the crowd drew me in further, and a lot of bands could learn from them.
