On ‘Replace Me’, Brisbane based trio Columbus are afraid of being swapped out, exchanged for something better. Judging by the first single from their debut full-length, it’s unlikely. Their heartfelt melodic punk channels the likes of a less distorted Balance & Composure, powerfully gritty yet surprisingly catchy. The band have just signed to Australian label UNFD for their debut, due our later this year. We’ll hold off replacing them in the meantime.
