Just where Asylums sit in the ever-confusing world of genres is anyone’s guess. If I had my way we’d have two genres; good and not good. Anyway, they have guitars.

‘Missing Persons’ pretty much serves a little bit of everything. There’s modern Weezer (those guys don’t half spread their influence around), a smattering of Britpop and a whole bunch of surf.

They’re likely to be picked up with NME as much as us, but I defy anyone not to want to turn this track up to 11 and stare longingly into the distance for some winter sun.
