Witterquick release new single ‘Run’

By Punktastic

Exeter-based alt rockers Witterquick – who made their first mark on the scene back in 2016 supporting Nothing But Thieves, releasing EPs ‘Beneath The Spinning Lights’ and ‘Fire And Ice’ in 2016 and 2017 respectively – have now self-released new single ‘Run’, their first new track after a six month break.

Recorded in Cardiff with renowned producer Romesh Dodangoda (Lower Than Atlantis, Kids In Glass Houses), the single is about “sticking to your guns despite the odds, holding on to your beliefs, and giving critics the finger,” says vocalist Will Alford. Bringing a poppy vibe to an atmospheric, stadium rock sound, ‘Run’ is hugely infectious and an exciting sign of what’s to come from the four piece. Check out the track in full below.

Witterquick will also be heading out on a tour of the UK to support the single, starting this week in Leeds – full dates are listed below, and tickets are available here.
