Touche Amore to take some downtime in 2015

By Glen Bushell

Touche Amore have announced they are to take some well-earned downtime through 2015 following their Australian tour with Every Time I Die in January. Known for being one of the hardest working bands in the industry and always following a rigorous touring schedule, the band will enjoy getting back to real life and undertaking some other projects through the course of next year. The band issued the following statement last night via Facebook:

“Hello,

We would like to take a moment to thank you all for giving us an incredible last 6 years and 800 shows. We just ended this year’s touring in Gainesville, FL at The Fest and had an unforgettable time. Aside from an Australian tour in January 2015, we plan to take time off to remember how to live a normal life for a while. We hope you understand that for mental and physical health sake.. we need to relax. Many of us have ideas we plan to work on in our down time including side bands, label projects, design projects, and more!

Upcoming TA plans:

– January 2015 – Australian Tour w/ Every Time I Die

– Collaborative 7” w/ SELF DEFENSE FAMILY on Deathwish Inc COMING SOON

– Album 4 writing.. when the time is right.

Thank you all again. We are truly the luckiest band.

Happy Holidays

The band have stressed that they are not breaking up or taking an extended hiatus, and that the time off is merely just to recharge after such a busy schedule. Touche Amore’s critically acclaimed last album ‘Is Survived By’ was released in 2013 via Deathwish Inc.
