The Kenneths announce new EP with ‘Hollywood’ video

By Ben Tipple

The Kenneths will release ‘Double N’ on the 30th September. It follows the already released ‘K’ and ‘E’ EPs. See what’s going on here?

“With ‘Double N’ we set out to capture the raucous energy and fun of our live shows, get into a tiny, overheated room, bottle up the songs in a jar and throw them at everyone’s ears,” says front-person Josh Weller.

“There are so many songs about how great being in love is. For me, love has always been fucking horrible. You can’t eat, you can’t sleep, you become the worst version of yourself. You become completely consumed by this feeling you have no control over, that’s what ‘Fucked In Love’ and All Cried Out’ are about. ‘Hollywood’ is the sunshine track, and ‘Focus’ is about my ADHD and inability for concentrate on anything for more than ten minutes.”

Having already shared stages with the likes of Anti-Flag, Juliette and The Licks and Less Than Jake, The Kenneths also spent the summer of 2015 on the Vans Warped Tour following a personal invitation by founder Kevin Lyman.

To celebrate the EP announcement, the trio have unveiled new track ‘Hollywood’. Following the release, The Kenneths will join Yellowcard on the road for their farewell shows.
