Swim Good celebrate five years with previously unreleased track

It’s been five years since London/Surrey alt rockers Swim Good signed to Failure By Design Records and provided the label’s first ever release in the form of the ‘Swim Good’ EP – and, to celebrate, the quartet have shared previously unreleased song ‘Heard Enough’. Produced by Chris Coulter (Jamie Lenman, Arcane Roots, Sun Arcana), vocalist Ryan Greaves had this to say of the track:

“This song was written during a particularly chaotic part of my life and served to bring myself back to the ground after I’d lost my way. The lyrics describe my brain trying to reason with my destructive actions. I’d wage a war in my own head for days, torn between doing what I knew was best for me and going against that better judgement masked as having a ‘good time’.

Ultimately its about ‘getting better’ being a possibility. It can seem nigh on impossible at times, but generally it all starts with reaching out for that helping hand – whether its from people around you or an organisation like C.A.L.M.”

The track has been released alongside the band’s discography under the name ‘… Are Excellent’ – you can listen to ‘Heard Enough’ below, and the full collection is now available on all major music services.
