Slow News Day #2

By Tom Aylott

Back again for another dose of Sunday reading, this week’s slow news day aims to cure a little of Sunday’s muggy hangover with some reviews and photos!

Reviews of rather excellent releases from Tu Amore and Samoans have been posted since Friday, and the new one from Tonight Alive didn’t go down badly either at the tail end of the week! Dischord‘s new effort got the biggest “yay” from us this week, but P.O.D. failed to impress our resident herb Ollie Connors with their new album (surprise, surprise).

Three spanking new live reviews worth your attention are of La Dispute, Pierce The Veil and Motion City Sountrack, and some rather excellent snaps from Chicago’s Riot Fest can be seen over in the Galleries area.

This week will see the post-Summer return of our larger features, so keep your ears and eyes peeled as we bring you the best content from the best bands the world has to offer. This week’s highlights will be all the regular news, plusour interview with Joyce Manor and double acoustic session with Lower Than Atlantis.
