PWR BTTM unveil new track, ‘Vacation’

By Glen Bushell

PWR BTTM have unveiled a new track, ‘Vacation’.

It is released as part of the Our First 100 Days Project, which aims to raise money to protect causes under threat from the new U.S administration.

The New York duo shared the following statement via Facebook regarding their contribution:

“Vacation” isn’t about a particular person, it’s about a particular feeling. Of people hanging over you; of people trying to control you with their power. Of how we all reach a breaking point. Of the power of vulnerability. Of thepower we have to get away from those kinds of people if we are true to ourselves.

The proceeds from this song and the Our First 100 Days project will go to organizations including All Above All, Southerners On New Ground, The People’s Climate Movement, Cosecha, Hoosier Action, and Revolutions Per Minute.”

Further information about the project can be found on the Our First 100 Days website.
