PUP reveal their pixel-heavy video for ‘DVP’

By Ben Tipple

The lyric video for PUP’s recent track, ‘DVP’, is a homage to the pixelated video-game era of yore. Superimposing lyrics into 90s classics such as Pokemon and Mortal Kombat, it perfectly encapsulates the Canadians tongue-in-cheek attitude.

The video helps to highlight PUP’s songwriting prowess, taking us into the mind of a drunken slur-fest.

‘DVP’ appeared towards the end of January, with no news of a full-length just yet. Still, PUP are over on UK shores in April, supporting Modern Baseball and for a London headline show.
