No Use for a Name to release new comp, ‘Rarities Vol. 1: The Covers’

No Use for a Name will be releasing the first edition of non album song compilations.

Entitled ‘Rarities Vol. 1: The Covers’, the album features every cover the band ever recorded from 1996 to 2005, including takes on tracks by the Misfits, Social Distortion, the Pogues, Kiss and more. It will be released on the 11th August via Fat Wreck Chords. Check out one of those renditions below.

The Cali skate punks were active from 1986 to 2012, with eight albums, a few EP and various compilations and live albums under their name. They disbanded in 2012 following the death of frontman Tony Sly, their last album was their 2008 eighth LP, ‘Feel Good Record of the Year’, on Fat Wreck Chords.
