Nick Diener confirms new The Swellers track in tweet

By Ben Tipple

Nick Diener, the former vocalist and guitarist of The Swellers, took to Twitter earlier this week to inform fans that The Swellers are working on new music.

UPDATE: The track has been confirmed as a one-off in support of the Flint Water Crisis Relief. It will appear on the ‘Not Safe To Drink‘ compilation.

The tweet states that the band have been recording a new song this week. The Swellers last released their ‘The Light Under Closed Doors’ LP in 2013, before announcing their split the following year. The band played some farewell shows through 2015, including a brilliant farewell show at last year’s Groezrock Festival.
