Merit announce the release of their new EP, ‘The Comfort And The Confusion’

By Ben Tipple

Arizona’s Merit will release their new EP, ‘The Comfort And The Confusion’, in the UK on the 11th March 2016. It follows 2013’s debut ‘The Truth About The Twenties’ and last year’s ‘The End Of Everything’, released as one of three concept records dealing with the cycle of life.

Since forming in 2012, Merit have shared stages with the likes of Joyce Manor, Touche Amore, Pity Sex, Into It. Over It and I Call Fives.

“‘The Comfort and the Confusion’ represents the stage where this new experience isn’t so new anymore and is getting a little stale,” the band explain. “It’s easy sometimes to lose appreciation for something when you’re maybe taking it a little for granted.”

The opening track from the EP, entitled ‘All These Haunting Things Part Two’, appeared last year and is available to view below.
