LA grunge punks L7 have announced the release of their new documentary, ‘Pretend We’re Dead’.

Produced by Blue Hats Creative, the film looks at the band’s career and influence, featuring never before seen live footage and interviews with the likes of Garbage’s Shirley Manson, Brody Dalle, Krist Novoselic and more. It will be globally released on DVD, Blu-Ray and digital streaming on the 13th October. You can pre-order it here and watch the trailer below.

L7 formed in 1985 and released six studio albums until their original break up in 2001. They were widely associated with the late 80s/early 90s grunge movement and were credited to being highly influential on the riot grrrl movement in the 1990s. The band recently reformed in 2014.
