By Aaron Lohan

Helium, the nineties Boston indie rock trio who featured Wild Flag/Ex Hex’s Mary Timony and former Polvo member Ash Bowie, have announced the release of a rarities and b-sides collection, entitled ‘Ends With And’.

The record features songs from the band’s early singles and EPs, as well as unreleased demos. As well as this, they will also be reissuing both of their studio albums, 1995’s ‘The Dirt of Luck’ and 1997’s ‘The Magic City’ (combined with their EP ‘No Guitars’ as a double LP), on vinyl after being long out of print. This will all be available on the 19th May via Matador Records and can be pre-ordered here.

To coincide with the announcement, the band have unveiled one of the previously unreleased tracks featured on the comp, entitled ‘Hole in the Ground’, for listening.
