Presented by the Association of Independent Music and Best Before Records, this year’s Alternative Escape in Brighton – an official free series of showcases running alongside the core Great Escape programme – will feature a Scuzz Throwdown Showcase at Volks. With Area 11 scheduled to headline on the 19th May and FVK on the 20th, other bands include Heck, Zoax and Bad Sign.
The line-up is completed by Counting Days, Press to MECO and Boy Jumps Ship, the latter of which unveiled their new track earlier today.
The Great Escape will take over Brighton from the 19th until the 21st, welcoming a host of new talent from across the globe. The Alternative Escape will run across the same dates with an additional 200+ plus bands playing across 15 venues. The full line-up for The Alternative Escape is expected to be revealed very soon.
