Foo Fighters confirmed to headline Glastonbury

By Glen Bushell

While it has been rumoured for some time, Foo Fighters have now been confirmed to headline Glastonbury this summer.

The band, who were forced to pull out of their 2015 headline slot due to Dave Grohl suffering a broken leg, will take to the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm on the Saturday night.

The announcement was preceded by cryptic messages from Foo Fighters online, culminating with an intimate performance in Frome, Somerset earlier this evening.

Glastonbury Festival takes place between June 21-25.
