Dustin Kensrue announces new solo album

By Ben Tipple

With Thrice reformation details still vague, frontman Dustin Kensrue has revealed his new solo album, due for release on the 21st April 2015 via Staple and Vagrant Records.

“This record is a study in contrasts; light and darkness, flame and flood, true love and senseless hatred,” Kensrue says on his website. “What does it mean to ‘carry the fire’ when it so often seems like there is no light or warmth to be found at all? This is the question woven through the fabric of these ten songs.”

‘Carry The Fire’ follows 2007’s solo debut, ‘Please Come Home’, and arrives after his showcase at this year’s SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas.
