Canterbury reveal details of 3rd album

By Ben Tipple

Surrey quintet Canterbury have revealed the details of their forthcoming follow up to the excellent ‘Heavy in the Day’. Entitled ‘Dark Days’, the new record promises to continue where previous record left off, building upon the darker sounds that underpin their melody driven pop hooks.

‘Dark Days’ is scheduled for release on the 13th January 2014 via Hassle Records, following time in the studio with producer Peter Miles (We Are The Ocean, Dry The River) and mixed by Adrian Bushby, whose previous work includes records by Muse and Foo Fighters.

The band explain that the artwork is representative of the feel of the record, claiming that “ometimes people feel trapped from whatโ€™s on the other side.”
