Blaqk Audio, the electronic project of Davey Havok and Jade Puget from AFI, have unveiled a new track titled ‘Anointed’. It has been built up for some time via the bands online outlets, and had its first airing on 105 San Francisco this week.
No official word on a new album from Blaqk Audio has been made available as of yet, but the band are due to follow up ‘Bright Black Heaven’, which was released in 2012.
This also comes as news has spread of Davey Havok forming a new band with members of Orange County ska/pop band No Doubt. There are also rumours of new AFI material in the works, so regardless of the vague detail, it will no doubt be a busy year for Davey Havok and co.
