Basement reveal video for ‘Aquasun’

By Ben Tipple

Basement have unveiled the of-fish-ial video for their latest track, ‘Aquasun’. The track goes some way to demonstrate the band’s sidestep out of the territory their inhabited on ‘Colourmeinkindness’. It celebrate their melodic edge, and has a distinctly poppier feel to it than what has come before. It’s bloody great too.

‘Aquasun’ is taken from the band’s forthcoming ‘Promise Everything’ LP, available from the 29th January 2016 via Run For Cover Records.

Basement will also be appearing at six venues in early February, joined by Tigers Jaw and Alex G. Their London date recently changed from taking place at Shepherds Bush Empire to KOKO, due to ongoing structural issues at the former.
