We sent Mat Stokes to go take some snaps of Masked Intruder, The Brokedowns and The Priceduifkes because we knew it would be insane. Here’s what he had to say…
“What perfect openers these guys were. The Priceduifkes are top notch. Toby was wise to hook them up with Direct Hit for that split. The only bummer was that Direct Hit skipped the gig to do summer fest in Milwaukee. That would have been some next level shit for that show. I will say, Priceduifkes and the Brokedowns knocked it out of the park. As strange as it was to see sooo many people who clearly had never seen either band before, it was just as refreshing to see how many of said people were super into them by the end of their sets.
To be honest, this was one of the most fun shoots I’ve had since the last time I saw Masked Intruder. I don’t think I could ever get tired of watching people have the best nights of their lives. It turns out if one of your life goals is to shot-gun a beer on stage during Masked Intruder, then share a beer with their parole officer later in the same set, it is attainable.”
