A Thousand Suns – Destroy Create

By paul

Having recently scooped a 3K promising Kerrang! review, the future is pretty bright for Welshies A Thousand Suns. This EP – released just before Christmas – shows why. While the vocals sometimes slip into Lostprophets-esque mode, the songs are very well structured and based around some impressive riffs. The production is very, very good meaning the songs sound really big – ‘March of the Pigs’ in particular is a very impressive opener. And while you could argue the band aren’t doing anything that hasn’t been covered before, they do their thing very, very well indeed. This is five tracks of rocking riff-tastic post-hardcore and well worth a listen.
